Can I cancel my order?

We completely understand, we change our minds too!

To cancel or modify an order, email us at info@commedespirates.ca. Our crew will do their best to accommodate your request.

However, note that it will be impossible to cancel or modify an order that has already been processed. So the key is: contact us as quickly as possible!

What to do if there's an error in the order received?

Each order is prepared with care and vigilance before sending it.

However, if a human error occurred during the preparation of your order, please write to us at info@commedespirates.ca so that we can quickly correct the situation!

What if an item is defective, damaged, etc.?

As soon as you notice it, please contact us at info@commedespirates.ca with photos of the issue.

This will allow us to find you a suitable solution as quickly as possible: to replace the item, send you a replacement part or to compensate you for the purchase.

Shipping & Delivery

What are the shipping fees?

Quebec and Ontario:

  • Free delivery on purchases over $100
  • Fixed rate of $15 for orders under $100.

Other Canadian provinces:

  • Free delivery on purchases over $100;
  • Otherwise, at the fixed rate of $15.

Some oversized items are subject to additional charges. These items are identified on their product page, and shipping costs will be displayed before checking out.

What are the delivery times?

Orders are processed and shipped out within 2 business days.

Transit times for Quebec and Ontario are 2 to 3 days following shipment. For the rest of Canada, transit time is 4 to 7 days, depending on the region.

Please note that these delays may be longer during busier periods such as leading up to Christmas or during promotions.

What are 'oversized items' surcharges?

Certain bulky and/or heavy items are subject to an additional fee for oversized items by most courriers.

These products are identified on their respective page, and delivery costs will be displayed before any payment.

In case of error in the delivery address

Please be sure to verify that the shipping address provided at the time of ordering is complete and error-free .

If there is an error, please contact us as quickly as possible so that we can correct the address before the order is shipped.

Once the package is being delivered, we cannot be held responsible for delivery to the wrong address, if it is an error in the address provided.

If the shipping address provided is incorrect or incomplete (eg apartment #) and the carrier must return the package to us without being able to deliver it, an additional fee of $15 is applicable to reship the package a second time . We will then contact you to obtain the necessary correction.

If it is an error in the shipment or by the delivery person , the second delivery will be at the expense of Comme des Pirates.

When will my order be shipped?

We process and ship packages Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.

You will receive a confirmation email as soon as your order has been shipped. Make sure this email is not among spam emails!

What happens if a shipment is returned to CdP?

In the event that the carrier is unable to complete the delivery (wrong address, package not collected, address not found, etc.), the package will be returned to us after days at the counter. In these cases, we will notify you upon receipt.

A $15 fee is applicable to ship the order a second time.

This fee also applies to address change requests once packages are in transit.

Returns & Refunds

How long do I have to return an item?

You can return a purchased product within 30 days from the date you received your order.

For Christmas purchases (November and December), the returns period is extended until January 31.

How do I return an item?

For any return that meets our Returns Policy,

  1. Contact us by email with the order number and the item you wish to return.
  2. Carefully pack your item(s) along with the packing slip or a copy of your order confirmation. In a pinch, writing your order # clearly on the box will do the trick.
  3. We will email you a prepaid return label to print and affix to the package (not directly on the item, please).
  4. Drop off the return package at the nearest service point, depending on the carrier.

What is your return policy?

CdP will accept returns on merchandise within 30 days of delivery, provided the item is unused, unassembled and in as-new, resalable condition. Items must be in their original condition and packaging.

We will refund the purchase price issued on the original payment method.

No returns or refunds in the following exceptions:

  • Gift cards;
  • Clearance or discontinued products.
  • Items marked as final sale (discount greater than 30%);
  • Special orders (items ordered especially for you).
  • Items that have been assembled or modified.

If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can find a solution or compensate you.

When will I receive my refund?

Once your return is received and checked by our warehouse, the refund will be issued to the original payment method within 3 business days.

Your bank may need additional time to process the transaction to your account.

Are there any return fees?

  • A flat fee of $12 (+ taxes) will be deducted from the refunded amount to cover part of the return shipping costs.
  • Initial shipping charges (paid at time of purchase) are non-refundable.

Discounts & promos

How do I use my promo code?

On a regular basis, we send our email subscribers a discount code for an online purchase. These codes may arrive directly in an email or be shared on our social media pages.

To use these codes, enter them in the "Gift card or discount code" box on the checkout page, then click the "Apply" button.

Promotional discounts cannot be applied to prior purchases nor can we issue a price adjustment on purchases made before the promotional period.

Why is my code not working?

There are several reasons why a promotional code may not work. Here are a few things to check:

↪ Is the code expired ? Most promotions are valid for a limited time.

↪ Is there already a discount applied to the order, or are the items already on sale? Only one discount coupon can be applied per order;

↪ Are the products in your cart included in the promotion ? Sometimes promotions are valid for set products, brands and/or categories.

↪ Does the discount not apply to specific items in your cart? These brands may be among those prohibiting the sale of their products at discounts.

Promotional exclusions

Discount codes are applicable on products in stock and at regular prices.

Some brands prohibit the sale of their products at a lower price than the predetermined one; notably Connetix.

Promo codes cannot be applied to:

  • Gift cards;
  • Previous purchases;
  • Products already on sale;
  • Bundles when the price already represents a discount on the total price of the items included.
